Indoor Exhibit Layout

Below is the layout for Earth Day Expo 2008. It includes nearly 100 indoor exhibit booths and over 20 outdoor exhibits. All booths and expo activities are on the main (ground) level. There are four indoor exhibit areas including Cafe', Green Living, Kid's Korner and Wellness.

All booths include an uncovered 8'x30" table (or 2'x30" tables joined to make this size), as well as a chair. They are each 10' wide and between 6'-8' deep and have either a permanent wall/window or room divider as backdrop. No side dividers are provided. Electrical service is available in booths indicated by yellow blocks and require extension cords. Blue blocks indicate booths without electric service.

Green Living Area: The Green Living Exhibit area is centrally located in the main food court and surrounding hallways. The 7,000 sq/ft room will accommodate 25 10'x8' booths, 9 with electrical service. The hallways offer 11 electric and 4 non-electric 10'x6' booth spaces.

Wellness Area: The Wellness Exhibit area is in the north end Gold Room and hallway, near the (free) massage room, classrooms and film room. The Gold Room is 3,500 sq/ft provides 21 10'x7' booths, 13 with electric service. The hallway offers 4 electric and 4 non-electric booths.

Kids Korner: The Kid's Korner includes 13 booths, 6 with electricity. Kid's sing-along and other activities will be offered in the center of the room.

Cafe': The cafe' includes 10 10'x10' electric booths. 4 booths are near the stage and will need to consider stage sound level.

Outdoor Exhibit Layout

Approximately 20 outdoor booths/areas are available, including 4 food and 2 other booths with electric service. All outdoor booths will be placed along the main walkway to the Oakland Center. Outdoor booths are a minimum of 10'x10' and require a tent or other contingency in case for rain. An 8' uncovered table will be provided for each booth.

Exhibitor Guidelines

Partner, major and preferred exhibitors will select booths first in sponsor level order then  registration order. Basic, non-profit & booths will be assigned thereafter.  Set-up is from 7-11pm Friday, April 18th (except Gold Room) and 8-10:30am on the day of the expo. Oakland Center Rules

Signage: SIGNS MAY NOT BE ATTACHED TO ANY PERMANENT WALL. 8' tall room dividers will be provided behind exhibits that are not against permanent walls and signage may be attached to them. Signs can be attached to tables and a limited number of sign stands will be available. 

Food: Only packaged food (not for immediate consumption) can be sold inside the Oakland Center. Vendors offering packaged food items or food/beverage samples must provide a list of food items and certificate of insurance by Friday, April 11 to:
