Get There!

The Earth Day Expo will be in and around the beautiful Oakland Center near the main entrance of Oakland University west campus at 2200 N. Squirrel Road, Rochester, MI 48309. The campus is bordered by Squirrel Road to the west, Walton Blvd. to the north, and Adams Road to the east. It is 2 miles north of M-59.

Take University Drive east -- I-75 exit #79 or from Squirrel Rd. between Walton Boulevard and M-59 -- until it ends in a traffic circle on campus. Exit the circle north (left, 3/4ths around) and proceed north on Meadow Brook Road. Park in the large parking lot immediately on your left.

Get Around...

Information Desk - Stop at the Information Desk just inside the OC entrance to enter the door prize drawing, pick up expo materials, or offer a donation. Volunteers are available to answer questions and give directions.

Café & Stage - Just past the entrance area, you will find the indoor food and beverage service counter on your right. On your left is the stage and Café seating area behind the curved room dividers. Don't miss the music, presentations and major sponsor exhibits here.

Green Living Exhibits - Continue straight to visit over 40 Green Living exhibits which are located in the hallway around and in the large food court.

Door prize drawings - Check out the door prizes in the southeast corner lounge located on your right just past the food court and check back to see if you have won a valuable prize. Drawings will be held each hour for that hour's entries.

Kid's Corner - Kids/family exhibits and activities are located in the Fireside Lounge on your right as you head up the main (north/south) hallway.

Wellness Exhibits & Massage Room - Continue past the Kid's Corner and see nearly 30 Wellness-related exhibits in the hallway leading to and inside the Gold Room on your right.  Across the hall, enjoy a free massage compliments of Irene's Myomassology Institute, located in the Heritage Room.

Films & Presentations - Continue to the end of the main hallway and turn left just before the north OC exit. Proceed down a short hallway. On your right are three classrooms for presentations and on your left, at the end of the hall, is the Oakland Room where eco-films will be shown.

Outdoor Exhibits

From the parking lot, head east across Meadow Brook Rd and follow the sidewalk straight to the Oakland Center. Along the walkways, you will see a variety of exhibits including hybrid/alternative-fuel vehicles, renewable energy equipment, and farm/animal displays. Don't miss the food service and products from several natural and organic food vendors.
