Overview
The Earth Day
Expo is a free, non-profit, annual community event, benefiting local
environmental education programs. The expo will offer consumers healthy
alternatives for earth-friendly living, promote green businesses and
organizations, and benefit local environmental education programs. It is
attended by thousands of local residents, dozens of green businesses,
organizations and experts, as well as many community leaders.
Because of its
limited budget, it relies heavily on local media to publicize and cover the
event, and offers many interesting stories about local environmental, health,
business and community issues and trends.
The expo is
produced by Upland Hills Ecological Awareness Center, a 501(c)(3) charitable
organization located in Oxford, MI. UHEAC is a designated MI energy
demonstration center founded over 30 years ago.
