EARTH DAY EXPO EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS -
Over 6,000 Attend Celebration at OU
Upland Hills Ecological Awareness Center and Oakland
University, producers of the Earth Day Expo, are happy to announce that the
third annual Expo, held last Saturday at OU's Oakland Center, exceeded many

Earth Day Expo Is just Kidding
Around
The Earth Day Expo is pleased to offer
kids and their families a wide variety of fun and informative exhibits &
activities in the Kids Corner and throughout the expo. These include
interactive energy and environmental displays, outdoor farm & animal
exhibits, play & art activities, and a Recycled ARTicle wearable art
contest. Kid- & earth-friendly food, snacks and drinks will be available
along with free samples and gifts, including Earth balloons. For details,

Can Eat The plates
Much of the food and drinks served at the
Earth Day Expo will be served on plates, in cups, and with "silver"-ware
that you can eat, right along with the delicious organic, natural food. See

Earth Day Expo Announces Program Schedule
UHEAC & OU, producers of the 3rd annual Earth Day
Expo at Oakland University, are happy to announce their 2008 program
schedule. The expo will offer a wide variety of
music, dance, films, presentations and kids activities, as well as an art
contest.
 Earth Day Expo Offers Prizes for Trashy Art
The Recycled ARTicle Contest is for kids of all
ages and is great way to celebrate Earth Day, get into recycling, and earn
prizes and money! A $25 cash prize will be awarded to the best entry every
hour from noon to 5pm.
Land Sailers to Blow in to Earth Day Expo
 The
Great Lakes BloKart Club will display a Blo-Kart at the outdoor exhibit area
of the Expo and demonstrate the amazing thrill-packed sport of BloKart
sailing in nearby parking lot, weather permitting.

Solar Car to Stop at Earth Day Expo
The
U of M Solar Car
Team will display its solar car at this year's Earth Day Expo. The solar
car recently placed 7th in the world, despite a serious crash.

100 local businesses on the forefront of the rapidly-emerging green economy.

Earth Day Expo Announced
The date, time, venue and name have been announced for the third annual Earth
Day Expo - Healthy People, Healthy Planet. The date is Saturday, April 19,
2008, three days before Earth Day which falls on a Tuesday this year. It will
again be held at Oakland University's Oakland Center, which provided excellent
facilities, parking and services last year. The exhibit area will be moved from
the upper floor to the main floor to provide better access.
